Our Journey: A Timeline of Impact

2010 - “Journey’s by Grace” was born.

Journeys By Grace was founded on a simple premise: that localized care produces global change. What started as a small community outreach initiative has expanded into a multi-national network of support.

2014 - Founding of the Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation.

Expanding the Reach Recognizing the specific needs of those battling chronic illness, we established The Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation, providing a voice and specialized care for a frequently overlooked patient population.

2018 - First Group Humanitarian Missions Trip

Multi discipline professionals traveled to serve globally. Total strangers gathered at JFK airport to embark upon their journeys to Africa and the USA

2022 - Best Documentary for the film Heart of a Missionary

Mark A. Giles, the videographer for Journeys By Grace, received "Best Documentary 2022" for the film. Heart of a Missionary received 2nd place in the Humanitarian Short Films category at the Cannes Film Festival and made the final 10 at the Black Art Film Festival.

2025 - Launch of "The Hospital That Love Built."

Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Hospital That Hope Built. The Capital Foundation donated $100,000 in seed money for the Kenyan hospital project,
